A Telling Poem...
I wrote the following poem a couple of years ago to express how I treat people within my work ethic:
As the Florida Sun Goes Down
As the Florida sun goes down,
I know that I have done well.
I have served my purpose—
I have treated everyone with kindness,
Encouraged whomever I could,
Worked the day with diligence,
And set a good example.
I can lay my head down to sleep, in peace,
And I know that I will do the same again tomorrow.
—Kimberly Laughlin
... and that is how I sleep well at night. 😴
